Ingredients for Chettinad style Meen kulambu
spanish Mackerel – 1 kg
shallots – 200 gms
fresh Tomatoes – 4 no’s
turmeric powder – 1 tsp
chilli powder – 1 1/2 tbsp
coriander powder – 2 tbsp
rock salt – to taste
fresh tamarind – 1 lemon size
raw mango – 1 nos
garlic – 8 to 10 pods
gingelly oil – 60ml
curry leaves – 3 sprigs
coriander leaves – 2 sprigs
Tempering;
red chilli – 3 nos
mustard – 1 tsp
fenugreek – 1/4 tsp
cumin seeds – 1/4 tsp
