This video is about crispy,thin,lacy South Indian crepe called Rava Dosa. This scrumptious mouth watering dosa is made with semolina/sooji /Rava, rice flour and all purpose flour along with spices like cumin, peppercorns, ginger,chilli, Hing and herbs like fresh curry leaves and coriander springs. This is a prominent dish well known across the entire Indian region. Best served for breakfast as well as for evening snack as it can be done quickly and it does not require grinding or fermentation and it can be prepared in the Nic of time. Variation like plain Rava, onion Rava, ghee Rava, onion Rava Masala, dry fruit Rava can be prepared and can be served with fresh coconut chutney.

Ingredients For Rava Dosa
Semolina/Rava – 1 cup
Fine rice flour -1 cup (heap)
Refined flour – 1/2 Cup
Cumin – 1/2 tsp
Peppercorns – 15 no’s
Chopped Ginger – 1/2 tsp
Chopped chilli – 4 to 6 no’s
Hing – 1/4 tsp
Salt – to taste
Chopped coriander leaves – 1 sprig
Curry leaves -1 sprig Tbsp
Sugar – 3/4
Ghee – 30ml
Dry fruits – 1 1/2 Tbsp
Dosa Masala – 2 Tbsp
Broken cashew – 15 no’s
Grated carrots – 1 Tbsp
