This video is about One of the South Indian famous recipe called Lemon ginger Rasam . Normally Rasam is made by using Toor Dal . But this Rasam is made by using Moong Dal . We don’t need to add garlic in this Rasam . It is easily digestible food . This dish is very good option during rainy days with a accompaniment of pappadam along with hot steam rice .

Ingredients
Moong Dal – 3 Tbsp
Ginger – 2 inches size piece 1
Lemon – 1 no
Pepper – 1/2 Tbsp
Cumin seeds – 1 Tbsp
Tomatoes – 2 to 3 no’s
Green chillies – 3 no’s
Salt – To Taste
Ghee – 1/2 tsp
Oil – 1/2 Tsp
Turmeric – 1/4 tsp
Red chilli – 2 no’s
Curry leaves – 2 sprig
Mustard seeds – 1/2 tsp
Hing – 1/4 tsp
Coriander – 2 sprig
Coriander stem – little bit.
