This recipe is about Versatile Spice powder which is highly aromatic and flavourful. This Kulambu podi can be used in Chicken curry, Mutton curry, Fish kulambu and most of the vegetable curries like Poondu kulambu, potato curry and dry spicy vegetables, etc…This is an all purpose powder for almost every house hold in south India. It can be stored in an air tight container for up to 6 months.

Coriander Seeds – 200 gms
Dry Red Chillies – 100 gms
Channa Dhal – 40 gm
Toor Dhal – 40 gm
Cumin Seeds – 40 gm
Fennel Seeds – 40 gm
Pepper Corns – 40 gm
Mustard Seeds – 10 gm
Fenugreek Seeds – 10 gm
Turmeric Whole – 25 gm
Raw Rice – 30 gm
Urad Dhal – 30 gm
Curry Leaves – 6-8 sprigs
