This video is about one of the variation of green coconut called coriander Chutney / Kothmir Chutney . This Chutney is very common, very tasty and versatile recipe from all regions of south India. It is a very good accompaniment for idly, Dosa, Rava Dosa and steamed rice . Make sure use the fresh tempering to the Chutney in the finishing process which enhances the flavour and taste to the Chutney.

Ingredients For Kothamalli Chutney
Urad Dhal – 1 1/2 Tbsp
Red Chillies – 2 No’s
Shallots – 4- 5 No’s
Curry leaves – 1 spring
Green chillies – 5-6 No’s
Coconut grated – 1/4 No’s
Coriander leaves – 1 bunch
Salt – To Taste
Tamarind – gooseberry size
Tempering
Mustard – 1/2 Tsp
Urad Dhal – 1 Tsp
Hing – 1/4 Tsp
Curry leaves – 1 Sprig
