This recipe is about Mangalorean style, one such speciality dish called Chicken sukka, which is semi dry in consistency. It is made using coconut and spice masala paste, neither too dry nor gravy. It has a distinct flavour, very tasty & unique cooking style. It is traditionally eaten with Neer Dosa, also is accompanied well with steamed rice, set Dosa and paratha .
Ingredients For Masala
Coriander Seeds – 2 1/2 Tbsp
Cumin seeds – 1 Tbsp
Fennel seeds – 3/4 Tbsp
Pepper – 1 Tbsp
Dry Chillies – 8 – 10 No’s
Cardamom – 6 To 8 No’s
Cinnamon – 4 sticks
Cloves – 10 To 12 No’s
Star Anise -2 No’s
Marati mokku – 2 No’s
Stone Flower – 2 petals
Curry Leaves – 2 Sprigs
Grated Coconut – 1 No(grated)
Turmeric – 1/2 Tsp
