This recipe is about the best Mud Crab gravy cooked in Chettinad style with lots of whole & ground spices . This Gravy tastes spice thunder, mouthwatering & the aroma fills the entire house. It is eaten along with Rice, Appam, Iddiappam & chappathi .Make sure to clean the crab and crack the shell (Tap with knife & crack the crab claws)so that the masala or gravy get inside the crab and also it will help to cook faster . The cracks helps to scoop the meat out of the shell while eating. Enjoy the Crab masala.

Ingredients For Chettinad Nandu Kulambu
Mud crab – 2 No’s
Methi Seeds – 1/2 Tsp
Fennel Seeds – 1 Tsp
Shallots – 1 cup
Onion – 1 No
Garlic – 12 to 15 cloves
Tomatoes – 2 No’s
Tamarind – 1 Gooseberry size
Turmeric powder – 2 tsp
Chilli powder – 1 Tbsp
Coriander Powder – 1 1/2 Tbsp
